The skin is then closed with a few stitches.

Bathing is allowed 48 hours after the process and needs to be dried effectively after bathing. Refrain from sex and lifting heavy objects until one is healed.

  • Fever 38 degrees Celsius or higher
  • Fainting
  • Bleeding from the wound that passes through the gauze
  • A bad-smelling discharge
  • Severe abdominal pain
